Max Allman is a filmmaker and editor from down south, now based in Brooklyn.
He most recently served as additional editor and associate producer on Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme, and as editor and co-producer of Xander Robin’s documentary The Python Hunt, which won a Special Jury Award at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival and was acquired by Oscilloscope Laboratories. Previously, he was editor, co-writer, and co-executive producer of REN FAIRE, a three-part documentary fantasia for HBO and Elara Pictures.
His work also includes editing jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy for Netflix, nominated for Outstanding Nonfiction Series at the 2022 Emmys, and Socks On Fire, which won Best Documentary Feature at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.
